Norm Digital Factory
Digital Factory: The Real-Time Power of Production
This custom project, designed end-to-end for Norm Holding, seamlessly connects shop floor machines (OT) with corporate management systems (IT). It brings the factory's digital twin to life with goals of paperless production, instant OEE tracking, and the democratization of information.

Why Was a Digital Factory Needed?
Before the transformation, major bottlenecks were slowing down the shop floor, damaging corporate memory, and reducing production visibility.
IT and OT Disconnection
Without a direct bridge between data from machines (PLC/Sensors) and ERP systems, data became siloed, complicating the transition to the "Dark Factory" (Industry 4.0) vision.
Paper-Based Processes
Managing work orders, quality forms, autonomous maintenance plans, and breakdown reports manually on paper caused speed loss and prevented the formation of corporate memory.
Harsh Shop Floor Conditions
Under real factory conditions like dust, noise, heat, and shift-based pacing, it was difficult for blue-collar workers to use existing complex corporate software (ERP screens).

Simplicity for Blue-Collar, Deep Analysis for Management
We built a unified platform (Aristo & Platon) where all production stages are digitized. Running independently on PCs, tablets, or mobile devices, this structure ensures data flows instantly from the field.
Asynchronous IT/OT Architecture
We centralized field data with a secure infrastructure designed to serve Machine Learning and predictive maintenance scenarios in future phases.
PWA-Supported Operator Panels
Thanks to responsive and PWA (Progressive Web App) interfaces, blue-collar workers can easily enter work orders, scrap, and quality data via kiosks or tablets, even while wearing gloves.
Comprehensive Module Management
Processes such as autonomous maintenance plans, quality defect notifications, machine downtime analysis (mechanical/electrical), product order lists, and document management are consolidated into a single screen.
Andon and Real-Time OEE
We instantly reflected production line status, production speed (Tons/Pieces), and breakdown/scrap counts onto giant screens inside the factory and executive dashboards.
Technology Stack Used in the Project
A modern architecture with long-lasting, scalable, and high security standards was chosen.
Results of the Transformation in the Field
Performance, quality, and availability data are now on management screens by the second.
All quality forms, procedures, and autonomous maintenance plans were digitized.
Electrical or mechanical faults are instantly transmitted to the relevant departments.
Instead of scattered Excel files, a clean database was created for machine learning algorithms.
